Nurturing Children, Supporting Communities,
Guidelines and Applications
How do local programs apply for a trust fund grant?
Community-based, nonprofit organizations that offer primary (universal) and secondary (targeted) prevention programs that reduce the risks of child maltreatment and strengthen families are eligible to apply for a grant. Each spring, the Trust Fund issues a request for proposals.
Request for Proposals
The Request for Proposals (RFP) for local community-based primary and secondary child abuse and neglect prevention programs and services for the 2016-2017 state fiscal year has closed. To be notified of the next RFP, please contact Jamey Petersen at (406) 444-3002 or JPetersen@mt.gov.
Mini Grant Proposals
We will review Mini Grant Proposals that focus on the prevention of child abuse and neglect and do not exceed $5,000. Proposals will be reviewed by the MT CTF Board of Directors within 90 days, and you will be notified of their decision. If you have questions, you may contact Jamey Petersen at (406) 444-3002 or JPetersen@mt.gov.
