Montana Developmental Center (MDC) Transition Planning Advisory Council

  • Dan Villa, Anaconda.  Qualification:  Representative of the Office of Budget and Program Planning, Chair.  Villa is the State Budget Director.

  • Charlie Briggs, Helena.  Qualification:  Representative of the State Protection and Advocacy Program for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.  Briggs is on the Board of Disability Rights Montana and with Easter Seals – Goodwill.

  • Erik Burke, Helena.  Qualification:  Representative of the Montana Developmental Center Workforce.  Burke is the Executive Director of MEA-MFT.

  • Dianna Crawford, Valier.  Qualification:  Family Member or Guardian of an Individual who is or was committed to the MDC in the past 20 years, representing varying viewpoints.  Crawford is the parent of a former client who is now served by a community provider.

  • Carol Dailey, Bozeman.  Qualification:  Family Member or Guardian of an Individual who is or was committed to the MDC in the past 20 years, representing varying viewpoints.  Dailey is the parent of a client who currently resides at MDC.

  • Mary Dalton, Helena.  Qualification:  Representative of the Department of Public Health and Human Services.  Dalton is the Medicaid and Health Services Branch Manager at DPHHS.

  • Commissioner Bob Mullen, Boulder.  Qualification:  Jefferson County Commissioner.  Mullen is a Jefferson County Commissioner.

  • Fran Sadowski, Missoula.  Qualification:  Provider of Community-Based Services.  Sadowski is the CEO of Missoula Developmental Services Corporation.

  • Carl Seilstad, Lewistown.  Qualification:  Representative of Community Mental Health Centers.  Seilstad is a Fergus County Commissioner and on the Board of Directors for the South Central Montana Mental Health Center.

  • Deborah Swingley, Helena.  Qualification:  Member of the Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities.  Swingley is the Executive Director of the Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities.

  • Tara Veazey, Helena.  Qualification:  Governor’s Health Policy Advisor.  Veazey is the Governor’s Health and Families Policy Advisor.
