HELP teens tell the truth about tanning!

The Montana Cancer Coalition is challenging high school students to make 60 second videos about the dangers of indoor tanning. You can help by promoting the Video Challenge at your school. It’s a fun project that can help students compete for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Help your students think about tanning for what it is – damaged skin!

The Problem

  • Tanning is popular in high school.
  • Tanning is a health risk – most skin cancers are caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
  • Anyone regardless of skin color can get melanoma.

What You Can Do:

  • Use the Video Challenge as a class or homework project.
  • Display the Video poster/flyer in your classroom and around your school.
  • Work with your service club or organization to promote the contest in your school.
  • Make copies and distribute the flyer included in this email.
