Montana Resources:

  • American Diabetes Association - Montana Office: The American Diabetes Association's Montana office provides great local programs for people living with diabetes, their friends and family. For information about these programs, please contact Kirsten Weatherford at kweatherford@diabetes.org
    • FamilyLink Montana: Learning to live with diabetes doesn't happen overnight, and you don't have to do it alone. That's why the American Diabetes Association's Family Link program is here for your family when you need us most - every day. In Montana, we offer a variety of social and support events throughout the year in locations all over Montana.
    • Camp Montana: Every July the American Diabetes Association hosts a week long summer camp for children ages 8 to 17 living with type 1 diabetes. Camp Montana takes place at Beartooth Mountain Christian Ranch in Fishtail Montana.
    • Safe at School: Do you need some guidance now that your child with diabetes is in school? The American Diabetes Association in Montana holds Safe at School workshops throughout the year to empower families to understand the rights of their child with diabetes in the school setting. Learn more about Safe at School and be sure to check the Community Calendar for upcoming Safe at School Workshops around the state.
