Program Responsibilities:
- Manages day-to-day development of the statewide trauma system
- Coordinating adoption of the administrative rules for implementation of the Montana Trauma Care System
- Coordinating adoption of a Montana Trauma System Plan
- Coordinating administration of the state trauma registry including education, implementation, data analysis and reports
- Meets quarterly with the Regional Trauma Advisory Committees to solicit input and to help coordinate priorities among the three RTACs
- Meets quarterly with the State Trauma Care Committee to present recommendations for trauma system improvement, and to receive input, suggestions and directions
- Provides technical expertise and assistance to Montana hospitals through consultation visits and helps prepare facilities for trauma center designation
