Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C):  The Montana Asthma Control Program supports health care providers in Montana who seek the national certified asthma educator credential (AE-C). The program provides support for studying for the AE-C exam through a lending library of free study materials, asthma educator certification review courses offered every Spring, and will also connect you with a mentor who has passed the exam and is currently providing asthma education in Montana. Pre-recorded Asthma-related webinars:  Since 2010, the Montana Asthma Control Program has offered at least 2 webinars per year on asthma-related subjects. Recorded webinars are approved for 1 CE from the Montana Board of Pharmacy and the Montana Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners. Past webinars are archived here.

Conducting Spirometry:  The Montana Asthma Control Program can provide a free training to Montana health care providers on conducting spirometry.

How to Treat an Asthma Exacerbation in the Emergency Department: The Montana Asthma Control Program can provide a training with 2.75 CE on how to treat patients experiencing an asthma exacerbation in the emergency department as part of our Asthma Hospital Patient Education, Action Plan, and Discharge (AHEAD) Protocol activity. Screening for Colorectal Cancer: Optimizing Quality:  Continuing education credits are available for physicians, nurses, and other health professions.  The courses can be accessed free of charge.  There are two versions of this training: one intended for clinicians who perform colonoscopies and one for primary care providers.
