Mini-Grant Awards Have Been Cancelled in 2020 due to Covid 19
The Governor's Advisory Council sponsors the Governor’s Conference on Aging; the council developed the Mini-Grant program to assist rural Montana communities with fewer than 10,000 populations, who have limited resources and need assistance in meeting a need for older adults living in their community; the grants range from $200 to $1,000 and are used to facilitate supports for services for older adults in those communities. In past years, Mini-Grants have fulfilled many imaginative and thoughtful requests; training and educational materials, exercise and health equipment, kitchen equipment and developing/enhancing senior support services that meet otherwise unmet needs in local communities. Mini-Grants are funded through sponsorships and a silent auction that is held during the conference; the Mini-Grants are also awarded during the conference.
NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19, MINI GRANTS WILL NOT BE HONORED FOR 2020. WE WILL BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2021 NEXT YEAR.
