HB 936 Long-Term Sustainability Study Committee

The HB 936 Long-Term Sustainability Study Committee was created by the 2025 Legislature (HB 936) to analyze and propose mechanisms to provide sustainable funding for long-term objectives of HB 872 to the executive branch and to the legislative finance committee in preparation for the 2027 Legislative session.

The eight-member committee meets every two months and reserves time at each committee meeting for public comment. Public participation is encouraged.

The committee consists of the following members:

  • Jane Gillette, Chair of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Joint Subcommittee
  • Stacy Zinn, Member of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Joint Subcommittee, appointed by the Speaker of the House
  • TBD, Member of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Joint Subcommittee, appointed by the Minority Leader of the House
  • Carl Glimm, Member of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Joint Subcommittee, appointed by the President of the Senate
  • TBD, Member of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Joint Subcommittee, appointed by the Minority Leader of the Senate
  • TBD, Governor’s Office Budget Director or the Director’s designee
  • Charlie Brereton, DPHHS Director
  • Meghan Peel, DPHHS Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Division Administrator
