Trauma System Regulation

The office of EMS & Trauma Systems works with trauma professionals, hospitals and communities to develop trauma facility designation, protocols, guidelines and to designate facilities within the state. The purpose of these rules and regulations is to establish and define the conditions under which the Montana statewide trauma system functions.

2026 Trauma Center Designation Criteria Update:
