Lead-Related Recalls and Alerts
This page includes lead-related recalls and alerts by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the MT Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (MT CLPPP). Lead is harmful if ingested by young children and can cause negative health effects such as learning and behavioral problems, slowed growth and development, and problems with hearing and speech.
DPHHS encourages people to stop using and dispose of these products immediately. If your child has come in close contact with these products, parents, and caregivers may want to consider testing the child for lead exposure by contacting their pediatrician or family physician.

Newmemo’s Children’s Jewelry Sets. Recalled on September 19, 2024.
- This product was recalled because the rings contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban and prohibited levels of cadmium.
Red Toolbox’s Stanley-Branded Jr. Kids Garden Sets. Recalled on September 12, 2024.
- This product was recalled because the paint on the long hoe and rake contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban.

Creativity Street Foam Pattern Rollers (Dixon Ticonderoga). Recalled on May 2, 2024.
- This product was recalled because the rollers’ handles contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban.
