Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program's (CLPPP) Local Partnership Project
Mission
The purpose of this Task Order is to strengthen population-based lead poisoning prevention activities at the local level by
- increasing blood lead testing (screening and confirmatory) and reporting to public health with the goal of preventing childhood lead poisoning,
- enhancing child lead surveillance through strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, and
- improving local referrals to services recommended for children with excessive lead exposure or risk.
