Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program's (CLPPP) Local Partnership Project

Mission

The purpose of this Task Order is to strengthen population-based lead poisoning prevention activities at the local level by

  1. increasing blood lead testing (screening and confirmatory) and reporting to public health with the goal of preventing childhood lead poisoning,
  2. enhancing child lead surveillance through strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, and
  3. improving local referrals to services recommended for children with excessive lead exposure or risk.
