Montana Health Alert Network
The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) Health Alert Network (HAN) is the department’s primary method of sharing validated information about healthcare concerns with local public health departments, tribal health agencies, public information officers; federal, state, territorial, and local health practitioners; clinicians; and laboratories.
DPHHS’s Emergency Notification System sent out the following HAN messages to local and tribal health jurisdictions and to their respective partners in Montana. The HAN messages contain vital public health information that either originated at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), DPHHS, or at the local level. DPHHS routinely forwards this information on to all the local health jurisdictions in Montana when subject matter experts determine that the information could potentially affect residents in Montana.
