EMS Advisory Committee
The purpose of the EMS Advisory Committee (EMSAC) is to advise DPHHS on matters including:
- the equipment and materials required for an emergency medical service
- the data to be collected and submitted to the department
- the information contained in an abbreviated patient encounter form submitted to a hospital
- patient care standards and guidelines and guidance on supplemental training for registered nurses, in consultation with the Department of Labor and Industry or the Board of Medical Examiners
