Skin Cancer Program Partners
The Montana Cancer Control Program (MTCCP) is implementing a Skin Cancer Prevention and Referral Program in Helena, Montana. This initiative equips local hair professionals with the skills and tools to identify skin abnormalities on clients, facilitate conversations about suspicious skin spots, and refer clients to board-certified dermatologists. The program is currently underway, with plans for statewide expansion based on the success of the initial phases.
