Montana Independent Living Symposium 2024

Breaking Barriers and Empowering CHANGE
September 9-11, 2024

Join us to promote and celebrate the importance of Independent Living in Montana! This IL Symposium will focus on Competitive Integrated Employment and increasing the involvement of individuals with disabilities in the labor force to foster full inclusion into the economic and social mainstream of Montana. Focus will be placed on how best to remove barriers to employment, agencies engaged in employment-based solutions, and individuals with disabilities successfully employed in meaningful careers of their choice. Additionally, joining us is Cheryl Bates-Harris, Senior Disability Specialist, leading expert on promoting full employment and rights for people with disabilities. This free, three-day event will strengthen commitment, answer questions, and generate connections to enhance equal opportunities for all Montanans with disabilities.
