Child Care Agency Services

Child Care Agencies are your resource to find affordable child care in your area. Child Care Agencies, formally known as CCR&R agencies, offer the following services:

• Help families apply for the Best Beginnings Scholarship
• Determine scholarship eligibility
• Refer families of all income levels to licensed and registered child care in their area. Hhigh quality, seamless referrals include a detailed look at:
  • Child care openings
  • Location of care
  • Type and quality of care
  • Child care options:
    • Extended or non-traditional hours of operation
    • Program accreditation
    • Accepting infants and toddlers
    • Special circumstances and needs

 
In addition to family services Child Care Agencies:

• Inform policy makers, businesses, and the public on child care related issues
• Advocate for child care providers and for families with children

 
Child Care Resources and Family Connections are programs of the DPHHS Early Childhood and Family Support Division funded by the CCDF block grant.
