Early Childhood and Family Support

The Early Childhood and Family Support Division (ECFSD) was created in January 2020, to better coordinate existing services for children and families.

The Early Childhood and Family Support Division works with community providers and clinics across the state, and is home to many early childhood and family support programs including, but not limited to: child care; serving children with developmental delays; supporting families through nutrition education and support, maternal child health, home visiting, and child abuse prevention efforts. ECFSD strives to assure that children, youth, and families are healthy and thriving.

The Family and Community Health Bureau (FCHB) is committed to promoting and improving the health and safety of Montanans. Our programs focus on providing education, clinical and/or preventative interventions, and resources for women, infants, youth and individuals throughout their reproductive years.
