OACareTool
The Osteoarthritis Action Alliance (OAAA) has developed a Health Care Provider Education Toolkit designed to:
- Increase healthcare providers’ knowledge about osteoarthritis (OA), including its management and treatment options.
- Offer patient-facing handouts that are easy to understand and encourage patient education.
- Provide self-management resources that help empower patients to take an active role in managing their OA through lifestyle changes, exercise, weight management, and other evidence-based strategies.
This toolkit is a valuable resource for both clinicians and patients, supporting a collaborative approach to OA care. It aligns with OAAA’s broader mission to reduce the burden of osteoarthritis through education, awareness, and community-based interventions.
