Grants for Registered Family, Friend, & Neighbor (FFN) Child Care Programs (Stabilization)

 

Family Friend and Neighbor (FFN) child care provider applications are open for Child Care Stabilization Funding.

Eligible Family Friend and Neighbor providers will receive up to $8,400 per child.

 

Funds can be used for:

  • The time you spend caring for children; buying, and preparing food or activities; and cleaning for the children
  • Your rent or mortgage
  • Utilities such as electricity, gas, and water bills

 

Eligible FFN Providers must be: 

  • Providing care on the date of application or temporarily closed due to public health, financial hardship, or other reasons relating to the COVID-19 public health emergency and  
  • Registered and in good standing with Montana Child Care Licensing.

  

 There are two ways to apply for the funding:

  1. When your child care licensor comes to your program for a site visit, she will be bringing an application packet with a paper application, FAQ, W-9 form, and a postage paid return envelope.
  2. You can complete the application online.
