MCVP is not currently accepting applications for host sites for projects beginning in winter 2024.
Any interested host site can reach learn more about how to apply to host a VISTA at your organization by visiting this page. The next application period will begin in February 2024 for VISTA projects beginning in July 2024. You must email or call MCVP to discuss your project before receiving an application. The Montana Community VISTA Partnership (MCVP), formerly the Prevention Resource Center VISTA Project, connects Montana communities, the Department of Public Health and Human Services – Human and Community Services Division, and the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) throughout the state of Montana.
It strives to keep Montana children, communities and families strong and resilient, improve and protect the health, well-being and self-reliance of all Montanans and support the strengths of families and communities by promoting employment and providing the assistance necessary to help families and individuals meet basic needs and work their way out of poverty.
The Montana Community VISTA Partnership works proactively in order to create and sustain conditions that reduce risk, as well as promote the safety, personal responsibility and well-being of all. There are VISTAs in many sites throughout the state of Montana.
