The Office of Legal Affairs (OLA), led by DPHHS’s Chief Legal Counsel, serves as the Department’s legal team. OLA provides comprehensive legal services, including contract development, representation in hearings and litigation, drafting and reviewing legal documents, offering training, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and assisting with policy development.
