Job Accommodation Network (JAN) - Offers free, expert, and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment issues via phone and online for private employers, federal employers and state and local government employers. Such as technical assistance with job accommodations and the American With Disabilities Act (ADA). Jan also offers a Employers Practical guide to reasonable accommodations under the ADA, a searchable online Accommodation resource SOARS.
ADA - Rocky Mountain ADA Center (RMADA) - Offers assistance to the state of Montana for ADA policy and procedure reviews; Transportation system accessibility consulting; Facility accessibility audits; Self-evaluations and transition plans; Architectural plan reviews; Park and recreation accessibility assessments; Material Dissemination; Technical Assistance on the ADA; Training; Referrals; Research
Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) - A federal tax credit available to employers if an Employer hires and retains individuals from target groups such as Veterans and those with significant employment barriers.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity ACT (WIOA) - WIOA matches employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. This is done by providing job seekers access to employment, education, training, and support services.
Talent Acquisitions Portal- TAP - An online national talent pool of qualified vocational rehabilitation candidates looking for employment. In addition to offering a talent pool of qualified candidates but employers may post jobs search resumes interview clients, have online job fairs, create compliance and application click reports.
MonTECH - A program available to Montanans for loan and exchange programs as pertains to assistive technology.
Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) - A Federal agency that promotes policy’s and coordinates with employers to increase work place success.
Employer Assistance Referrals Network (EARN) - Offers individualized technical assistance on issues related to recruiting, hiring, retaining and promoting qualified individuals with disabilities.
