Improving Clinical Outcomes

The Montana Asthma Control Program is committed to helping healthcare providers in the state improve their clinical outcomes. 

Join us for a quality improvement project!

Options available for outpatient care and emergency department/urgent care settings.

Participating facilities receive the following:

  • $5000 to improve care of patients with asthma.
  • Support from professionals to optimize utilization of the EHR and ease workflows.
  • Onsite educational presentation(s) approved for continuing education credits.
  • Scholarships to the Big Sky Pulmonary Conference and the Asthma Educator Review Course: and materials from the MACP to support quality patient care.
  • Patient educational materials from the MACP to support quality patient care.
  • Options to renew for additional funding and improvement.

 
A QI project supports the use of the Expert Panel Report-3 Asthma Guidelines. Assistance with implementation of a quality improvement project aims to support delivery of evidence-based healthcare according to EPR-3 Asthma Guidelines in Emergency Departments (ED), hospitals, and clinics. All participation is voluntary. The program has developed professional materials and education sessions for participating facilities to use, free of charge. Learn about the MACP's QI activities..
